Chamaerops humilis

Palm tree characteristic of the Mediterranean area. Its fan-shaped leaves are deep green, rigid and with long, thin petioles loaded with lateral thorns.

Its habit is of the shrub type and it develops several trunks from the base.

It is an undemanding palm in soil, it can withstand long periods of drought.
